L’Oréal Elvive Manifesto

For many, hair is such an integral part of their identity. It can inspire a range of emotions from confidence to jealousy (we’ve all been guilty of hair envy…). This relationship is put under the microscope By L’Oreal with their recently launched Elvive Manifesto which graced this week’s Stylist magazine and revamped Piccadilly Circus billboard.

The objective of the campaign is to explore the often emotional attachment we have to our hair, which is present in our everyday lives and can even impact on our daily mood. To reflect the sheer complexity of this, the campaign involves a largely diverse range of stars and influencers, all of whom have their own unique understanding of their hair and what it means to them. The range of chosen personalities include the likes of plus-size model Felicity Hayward, Muslim influencer Amena Khan, musician Dougie Poynter, L’Oreal ambassador, Cheryl and an array of social Influencers including: In The Frow, Really Ree and Nadine Baggot.

The campaign intends to celebrate all hair types and the very beauty of the fact that no hair type is the same, emphasising that “it’s not just hair it’s who I am…” Watch it here:
